Getting adsense ads to display correct content..

I have a site where I will add new articles, I want the adsense ads to match the information in the articles.

For some of the articles it is bringing up ads from my template links.

Let me give in a example:

http://www.rtgconsultants.com/seniorcitizen-articles/stressbuster.html

I want the ads to be stress relief related, not reverse mortgage related.

I have seen other sites that will load up the page with hidden keywords and text, but I don't want that to effect search engine placements..

Any feedback???

Not sure if this is doable on your site or not, but usually, if the keyword is just above or just below the ads, the targeting gets a little better.

If you want the ads to match your main content then you should try to avoid all other content that might throw of the theme.
Don't have reverse mortgage links on page unless you want your ads to be of that theme. I use an advertising network on some of my sites and it is sometimes bad news for ad relevancy, I guess it is just the price you have to pay.

Remember that the ads are also `geo targetted` so the ads you see may not be the ones i see.

It may help to get some friends on different datacenters or in different parts of the world to have a look and tell you how relevent they think they are.
Good idea is to get other people to send you screenshots.

P.s,, Just had a good look at that page and your mortgage terms will always take dominance over any other theme you put on the page.

I'm dealing with this now with Ad Links.
I have a page that had one of the dreaded "sometimes" AdSense stop-words. Now, 4 of 5 Ad Links ads are related to this one word.

I went back and removed all traces of the word and any possible cousins. I changed all occurrances of the word in text, to graphics. I changed the ad panel. Yet, I can't get rid of the "bad-word" Ad Links ads.

The page subject matter could not be more obvious to a bot.
Yet, the Ad Links bot clings to the vanished word.

<edit>Solved! You know, sometimes it is best to humbly contact AdSense support sooner, rather than later. This works far better than just moaning. Ha!</edit>
