Get the feeling someone is messing around w/your adwords campaign?
Starting last week a competitor started running an adwords campaign. There's some direct competition for us. We've been running the ads w/ a high rate, but a low total per day.
Ever since this other guy started advertising I'm seeing our ads lasting about 1/2/day. He is directly targeting our geography in his ads. Think we need to restructure this to compete in adwords all day long. He's definately competing at a lower click through rate as his ads are toward the bottom of the list. Any other suggestions comments? Fires up my competitive juices. Dave |

Once again our ads disappeared from Adwords around 3:00 in the afternoon. I think this guy is scr**ing around with us. Anyone else have this experience?

Are your ads only running on Google or is it on other sites?

This only started happening recently since a competitor started placing ads also. We have a budget. We run in google, associated SE's and content.
We weren't running into this until this competitor started running his ads. Just cautious. |

Have you been seeing higher than usual traffic from your ads? The AdWords algo will slow down the impressions for your ad if you start getting more clicks and your daily budget is set too low. You might ask an AdWords rep to look into possible click fraud from your competitor (clicking on your ads) if the numbers are out of whack.

Thanks Bernard. Better to contact adwords first then start clicking on the site I'm suspiceous of.
