Different campaigns showing at the same time

Hi

I've got campaign 1 which I'm bidding on the keyword "widget". I also have campaign 2 bidding on the keyword "widget". Both are different sites and in competition with each other...but only one ad shows at a time...is there a way of having both showing on the same page of result (amount bid and ctr is the same - they just don't show up together).

Thanks

M

when two ads in your account are eligible for a single search term, google shows the one with the highest ranking at that moment based on max cpc, ctr and relevance. to display both the ads, you should create a new adwords account for the other site.

Thanks, Ez

Pity I had spent quite a while putting all my keywords in...but it'll teach me not to RTFM properly - I see the line in the help files now...

Sheepo.

Two friends of mine are working on the same project/website. To track each persons result, each had an adword account and a different landing page (different domain), but the offer was basically the same. Their competitors complaint with Google and Google told my friends that they cannot have two different accounts advertising the same website even if it is on a different domain.

I'd say that advertising two websites from one account could cause a similar problem. I would go with two separate accounts, maybe even in different names if possible.

Ben
