Clicking adsense by mistake?

I have the following concern: my gf is working on a design on some of my sites. There is adsense and she is going to opimize the ads. Since our IPs are similar i wonder what can happen if she accidently click some of the ads? I have heard that if you click from a PC which is used to log in adsense account they just don't pay the clicks made. Does anyone know if this is true? It would be awful if she click by mistake some of the ads (she knows she should not click but that could hapen) they terminate my account. If the theory about the same PC is true, it would be nice, but i can't find such info on adsense's help.

I so far have no heard of them doing this for a couple clicks... However if they see that there are thousands of clicks coming from the same IP address they might and i mean just might ask a question...

See they can't techniqually know if it's you anyways, because if you were on dial then your IP is dynamic everytime you dialup, even on DLS or cable your Ip changes soemtimes every three months or so..

My point, is, do not be paranoid, they are not out after the user who commits "click fraud" ONCE or twice or even one hundred times, they are going after the idiots who are trying to cheat them and steal thousands of dollars fromt hem

there is nothing wrong in clicking once or twice by mistake. but clicking 10 times by mistake will hurt.

You can always disable javascript while working on the site to prevent the ads from being displayed in the first place. This should also help prevent the artificial inflation of impressions (and keep your CTR up higher).

I emailed Google once when a colleague of mine was clicking on the ads on my website and explained it was an honesty mistake they thanked me for my honesty and reminded me of their TOS.
