Can I cashout My Cheque in USA?
Hello guys,

My friend lives in Singapore. And he got his September Cheque($170).

Interestingly .. My name and his name is same.

He wants me to send the cheque to me and want me to cashout out the Cheque in any bank of USA.

Can I really cashout his cheque in USA though it is sent to Singapore. *I'm little nob abt the chq thingie "sigh" *

Hope few of u let me know and confirm me abt it.

Well, I just dont wanna do any illegal things, and must not be Bank stuff..

But just curious, I can do it .. right? does it matter to which address the chrque is sent?

Coz i think, in the cheque, they don't put the postal address or country... am I right ?

Correct me if i'm wrong! ..

So can I encash a cheque even from a different country(intended for me and drawn on my name). Singapore banks charge more than 15-20 USD for completing a cheque deposit. Indian banks do not charge that much.

Is this legal??
