Broad, Exact, Phrase...Help!
I read a post at the top of this Group by SEOSTEW....and in his second tip he states that one should bid on all three types of matches for every keyword.
When you do this ...how do you prevent overlapping? I was told by a rep from Google that this would hurt my campaign. |

Put them into their own Ad Groups and have each type in it's own Campaign.
Neither will hurt the other. Ultimately you want just Exacts, but the phrases / broad can be used to find more negatives/exact matches. It's the exact matches which need the most tracking, tweaking etc. |

Google will use the closest matching option to trigger your advert.
CPC Advice "CPC Advice" [CPC Advice] Search (CPC Advice) would trigger Exact Search (CPC free Advice) would trigger Phrase Search (Advice on CPC) would trigger Broad I've never heard of all three in one group damaging your campaign |

Well...i am a beginer just trying to learn.
But what i did hear was that if you keep all three types in one adgroup....you may distort your quality score. Anymore comments are greatly appreciated.... |
