Exclamation Anyone using the 3 ads feature?

Has anyone here seen any improvement in CTR using more than one adsence code on their pages?

I just put a second code on my site. It is now on the begining of the page, before the text, and at the end of the page, (it is a php script, so I can't put it on the middle or it will screw everything up)

I can't wait to see if this helps my tiny amount of clicks to increase!!

My guess is your number of clicks will go up ... but your cents/click-thru will go down since you'll be showing "second tier" Adwords ads which cost less, and therefore you get less ... so I wonder if worth it ... plus fills up the page with ads!

Are the first ads in a banner the highest ppc?

i want to know that too... are the highest yield per click ads placed in the banner that is highest in your code - and that might not always be highest on your page.

I'd like to get some guidance from google on this. I don't want to unknowingly sell my traffic on the cheap.

algo for dislaying adsense ads is similar to the ranking algorithm for SERP. EPC to adsense is PR to SERP. there's a balance between relevance and value (PR).

Doesn't Google say you cannot add more than 1 type of ad on the system.

Google recently started allowing 3 AdSense ads per page. Too soon to tell if it's a good idea or not, but I have plans to experiment with it soon, but probably only use 2 ad blocks in most cases. 3 just seems like it would be overkill on any page I'd produce.

I use two or three ads in some places on my main forum site. I would only do it if you can make them blend in and not bombard the people with ads. Mine seem to convert well. The CTR has dropped, but the number of ad views have doubled, and the number of clicks has gone up as well. Overall it can be a beneficial thing if done correctly./
