Let me get this strait. You have a site about "widgets" and you are going to buy Adwords for "widgets" to drive people to your "widgets" site hoping they'll click the "widgets" Adsense ads... And you want to know if that will be proffitable?

It's late, I'm going out of town in hours. I may be delerious.

1. Pay google to get traffic
2. Get a portion of what other people pay google
3. ?????
4. Profit!

I get the idea but entropy kills.

You can always pause adwords. Run the two for a while. If you're spending more than you’re getting in return just pause the campaign for a while. let adsense accrue a little more money and than start it up again. It has worked out for me. I have spent 1/5 of the money I have made on advertising. Its about well placed ads and timing.

It only works that way if you're driving traffic to your site from some other means besides adwords. Because if your traffic is only coming from adwords, if you pause your adwords, you pause your traffic, thus pausing your adsense.

Seems like this is the holy grail. If you figure out how to multiply the traffic you bring in from adwords, you can make a profit with adsense. They key to that is deep content and return visitors.

Yes it will work. You have to use lower cost adwords for higher cost adsense words.

I would advertise using overtures, mivas, or yahoos, then use adsense on my site.

Because sometimes they can be cheaper.

I would recommend using adwords to bring in the traffic and a 3rd party CPA model to generate the income, azoogle, cj, etc..
