Adwords advice
I have an online store with more than 25,000 items on it. The main way I get traffic is through PPC sites such as bizrate, nextag etc... I do not use adwords yet but want to but have a few questions.
1. Is adwords better than shopping comparison sites?
2. I sell items for all teams in all the major sports like the NFL, MLB etc... What is the best way to create campaign? or example I sell items for the house, bed & bath, car accessories, BBQ and more. I am currently breaking campaigns down team by team and section by section. For example I create a campaign for the philadelphia eagles under my bed & bath category and then add all the keywords in there like eagles blanket, philadelphia eagles blanket, eagles pillows, philadelphia eagles pillow and so forth and then have them land on my philadelphia eagles bed & bath section listing all my blankets, comforters, pillows and bed bath items. Is that a good approach or is there a better one you can think of or am I doing this all wrong?

Thanks in advance
1. bizrate and other shopping comparison sites do very well... to get a google account working at the same level of ROI
I would say to add a google account with 500 targeted buy your product keywords with stats on conversions and clicks.
then run it for a couple days reviewing your stats and looking at the keywords that are converting sales and use those keywords next month; only... within 2 months you should be targeting only the keywords that create sales and referring sites sales.
2. do your keyword research and Competitor Analysis to find the keywords you should target by high demand and low supply. KEI report... also I would suggest to build a yahoo store and build an ebay store; just upload your current inventory and increase your reach

They are different things so it is hard to compare, but a well manage and maintained Adwords campaign can be extremely successful.

You sound like you have created the campaigns well. It is a very good idea to have a high number of small ad groups that are extremely targeted to that product than to have one big group with all keywords.
Make sure you send visitors to the most relevant page and that the Advert matches your keywords and ad group topic.
If you don't already have analytics installed and linked into your Adwords I would also recommend this. Set up goal conversions so that you can track exactly which keywords are working for you.
