Adwords advertising, remove content match?
I have some ads using Adwords. A lot of them do very well. However, I have been doing some homework and notice one of them, the conversions are very low.
The clicks are very high but conversions are low. So it is costing more to have the ad then what we are making. I am thinking it is the content ads that are causing the problem. As a general rule, do I turn off the content match? Thanks for any info |

Turn it off and see what happens
Experimentation will bring more or less revenue. If it brings more just leave it like that but if it brings less you can always roll back your changes. |

It could be the content match. It could also be that your keyword/phrase is too generic and pulling a lot of untargeted traffic. If you are using broad matching, you should study your server logs to see what search phrases are pulling the search traffic and weed out keywords associated with non-performing keyphrases using negative keywords.
