Think about your question Marki. Lets say you sell .... hmmm.... Small Honda Generators. Now, each product line requires you to not only qualify under distribution guidelines, but they also require you to be approved. (qualifying does not equal approval

)
Now, would you mosey down to the other side of town and ask the other local Authorized Honda Generator Dealer if he thought you could sell....hmmm...lets say the Honda Lawn Mower line? Now, if this other dealer said yes I'm doing it now, would you then go and put in a nice order to the Honda distribution center for these new handy dandy Lawnmowers?
Now, even should the Honda Distribution warehouse fill the order, would you then not expect to get a phone call from the area sale rep for the Honda Lawn Mower Line asking you why you are competing with his Authorized Honda Lawn Mower Dealer and Who gave you the authorization to do so?
Will you answer be, the Authorized Honda Generator Distributor on the other side of town? How long would you then expect to maintain your Authorized Dealer status for Honda?
I know this is a long answer, but I tell you this not just for the Google question. You are in business. Regardless of the size of your business, or the type of business you run. In business relationships, for them to be successful for you, your vendors or your clients, it is important you understand this one fact.
Business relationship are partnerships. Whether they are clients or whether they are vendors. In this scenario, your controlling partner in this relationship is Google, without whom you will lose a very desirable and high profit product your company can easily and quickly sell. If you have a question related to how you conduct business representing that product, should you care to maintain that vendor, you must address authoritive questions with your controlling partner.
This is an important lesson and why many businesses fail, and it is rarely the controlling vendor of a desirable and high profit product that loses and rare still a that highly desirable client will ever lose in this situation. Typically owners lose sight of where the profits come from and in even more instances are simply careless with their relationships. Sometimes, they simply don't care. You get to choose which one you want to be.
Apply this in every aspect of your business model.
Go to the only Authorized source to get important questions answered, whether your client or your vendors. For this situation, it will take one e-mail and you will have a specific answer by the following day from the person authorized to tell you. Yes you can, or no you can't. Your Authorized Google Sales Representative.
