Ad Placement and click payout
OK here is my question....
Say I have 3 google adsense ads up.... At first i had all 3 on left hand side and made a change to two on left hand side of my page and one on the bottom... It appears my clicks have increase...... My question is are the ads being place on the higher up google adsense banners (on the left) would they have higher click payout rates then the one showing on the bottom? If i am getting 80% of my click on the bottom ad should i remove the two on the left in hopes of getting higher click payout on the bottom? I base this all on the assumption as they show the higher paying ads first...... And advice is appreaciated.... if you need a visual of what i am talking about my site is http://www.all-freemagazines.com Last edited by SEO_AM : January 30th, 2005 at 10:27 AM. Heh, that bottom ad fits better into your page flow, so people might actually be fooled a bit. That and the fact that people are often hesitant to click on anything "narrow". Actually, you might want to leave the other ads on, to distract people
![]() Side note: seeing this, I wonder why people never clicked on my ads (other than my main audience being savvy SEOers). I removed them entirely
