33% drop in CPC adsense yesterday
Hello all webmasters,

I had a 33% drop in my earning yesterday, and had the same amount of impressions and clicks any one had the same thing ?

what's going on .. have not mailed them yet .. but if it goes on for 3 days will definitley do so.

I am experiencing the same thing. It drops 90% plus . Maybe Google is testing something I guess. I see all those irrelevant Public Service ads shown on my pages instead of the bucks-paying ads. If this condition persists, it is really worrying me though.

It all depends on Adsense advertisers. You could have had an advertiser showing their ads on your site with a high bid amount one day and the next day they could have changed their ads, reduced their bid amount, etc.

Nope

Everything is back to normal now. According to some news it was due to Google new update to their algorithm some time ago that accidentally caused a mess to the program.

I wrote to them, and they got surprised too as only non-paying ads were shown on my site. But now everything is on track . More power to Google

I also experinced same thing. The CPC reduced to 200%. Can we get information about such incidence?

I heard rumours on this but if a person or program instills mass click fraud if even on a small niche of googles ads it has a trickle down effect to the other revenues as well right now I am following some other forums right now discussing the same thing I would post a link but I don't want to do that as I am new and don't want to upset anyone with links or can I post links in this forum?

Ah I have nothing like that installed on my stuff. I have a low CTR so don't even think they would care to take a look at my stuff. Seems to be back to normal today. SOme kinda of "robbery" gitch... hehehe
