    didn't pass adsense criteria

I signed up for the adsense program today and got rejected within a few hours. I thought the site would be perfect for the adsense program. I got no reason for the rejection but the only thing I can think it might be would be the lack of traffic. Is that a major problem for Google?

It's fairly highly ranked in the search engines. Frustrating. Think I might resubmit like dazzlindonna. Just irks me that they don't tell me what I'm doing wrong. I responded to their rejection email with an email expressing my frustration at their lack of feedback. Don't know if they will kill my chances altogether.

Your URLs tend to use parameters. This may be the problem since they may think it contravenes this section of the FAQ ...
"Form-loaded content, dynamic content, flash movies, and images cannot be used to target ads to your pages"

So you're saying that because I use forms to get jobs posted on my site Google may have decided I contravened their terms and conditions. Hmmmm.

Maybe I need more content on the site. Thanks for the insight, Gringo.

i also think, it depends on PR, i might be wrong though. Because, i thought my site was perfect for AdSense when i first launched it few months back with PR 0, but got rejected numerous times. Then i submitted my site to DMOZ and got accepted and got PR of 4 and got numerous backlinks as well. and again applied for AdSense, and FINALLY got accpeted.

    Just my $0.02.

    Good luck.

i think adding content would help. and i agree with tejas also. i'm pretty sure i got accepted when my site's pr increased. and that may be all you need - but i do think more content on your site would also help. nice-lookin' site though!

I have a new site ... just uploaded last friday - does not appear to be indexed by google yet. My question is - is it too early to submit for Adsense?

I would indeed wait until you are permanently indexed - it seems one or two webmasters have had brand new sites rejected and then accepted after some time.

Perhaps because the website at the URL you gave doesn't actually exist?

    Gringo.

    Hi there

What do you mean by 'permanently indexed'? and also PR...how do I do this?

I too have been rejected by Adsense. I'm at a lost 'cause I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Please review my site and advise...if you can http://pattyscoop.blogspot.com

    Thanks, please advise
