    Ad Blockers and Adwords

With the rise of ad blockers, I have a question regarding ad impressions.

I curious to see if these blockers are actively removing ads from SERP pages or are they passively removing the content.

The main idea with my question is that even if a potential customer searches one of my keywords while using a ad blocker, will is still count as an Impression in Google Adwords?

    slideshare.net/sourcepoint/the-state-of-ad-blocking-september-2015?ref=http://sourcepoint.com/comscore-and-sourcepoint-the-state-of-ad-blocking/

There have been multiple articles posted as of late discussing the idea of the Ad supported Internet is declining with the use of ad blockers and digital assistants.

We have a very similar thread running here that might help: Ad Blockers - the End For Adsense Websites ??

Though that one is about AdSense.

Regarding the question of whether blocked ads still count as impressions - the answer in this thread (and another linked within it) is...maybe: https://www.en.adwords-community.com...rs/td-p/398473

Then in this thread from 8 months ago, users are saying "No it does not" https://www.reddit.com/r/marketing/c...f_the_user_is/

So this seems like a tricky question!

Thank you for the quick response! I'm going to look through all these links.

The same thing like everything else in SEO. MAYBE It seems that the only thing which we know are the things which definitely do not work. We still have limited knowledge when it comes to implementing new systems. At least after recent updates.
