    Adding FB to website

    anybody know much about coding?

    we can get the like box on our page

    <div id="fb-root"></div>
    <script>(function(d, s, id) {
    var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];
    if (d.getElementById(id)) return;
    js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id;
    js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1";
    fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);
    }(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));</script>
    <div class="fn-like-box" data-href="https://www.facebook.com/wemoveitt" data-colorscheme="light" data-show-faces="false" data-header="false" data-stream="false" data-show-border="true"></div>

    although we are looking to center this... i have tried <center> and did not work because its html5.. any ideas?

    I tested your code on my test site, and it doesn't display. Your `fn-like-box` is wrong. It should be `fb-like`. I added a container around your code. Just copy this to your page:

    Code:
    <div class="fb-like-container">
    	<div id="fb-root"></div>
    		<script>(function(d, s, id) {
    			var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];
    			if (d.getElementById(id)) return;
    			js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id;
    			js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1";
    			fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);
    			}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));
    		</script>
    	<div class="fb-like" data-href="https://www.facebook.com/wemoveitt" data-colorscheme="light" data-show-faces="false" data-header="false" data-stream="false" data-show-border="true"></div>
    </div>
    Then in your `style.css` add this:
    Code:
    .fb-like-container {
    	width:auto;
    	text-align:center;
    	}
    It will look un-centered because the Facebook badge is 450px wide, but the text (45 people like this. Be the first of your friends.) doesn't fill the whole 450px.

    Hope this helps.

    If the code gets it to show up, have you tried using div styles? That would be the easiest way.

    <div style="text-align: center;">Your box code here</div>

    If that doesn't work, try div styles with margins, unless your format is responsive to mobile.

    I think you're right about using inline styles instead, especially if the OP isn't familiar with CSS. His code doesn't work though, at least in my test site.

    Where are you trying to put it? If this is on your wemove-it-com site, I see a Facebook and a Twitter icon on the top (header).

    adding fb to website is a good solution if you actually want to promote your website and hence another chat app which is free of cost available on google play store and hence can be seen on fb also.

    What platform (WordPress, Joomla, etc) are you using? If you're using one of those, I'm sure there are lots of plugins/extensions to allow you to do that.
