This timeframe precedes my SERP drop from page one to somewhere down in the pits of hell. However, WMT only shows a few hundred IBLs, and they're all relevant.

Does Google only "rate" me on the IBLs that they're showing? If so, why did I drop so suddenly?

I created this website less than a month ago and aiming at "best point and shoot camera" as my main keyphrase. Since the first week I saw the site ranked for the main keyphrase though the ranking bounced. However, in the last week or 2, the keyphrase ranks nowhere. I still see the website rank for a few other keywords. So I have these questions that have been bugging me since:

1. Is my website penalized by Google or is it just the "dance"? What should I do next? It is still indexed (last crawl was 4 days ago). I copy a sentence in the page on to google and my site appears also. All I do was basic link building (no black hat). AHREFS show 30 backlinks (dofollow) while backlinkwatch doesn't find any.
2. Please visit my site and help to check how I can improve my on page optimization.
3. One more thing I would like to add to what I was doing. I check my site serp ranking using Market Samurai and Rank Checker (SEO suits) very frequently. Does this activity affect my ranking? The site has been optimized for the colorado springs area and has been up for about a year and a half and is ranking first with specific keywords that it's optimized for in the area.

But, I have recently decided that I would like to expand the business and open up a second location in another state -- same name just different physical location.

The services & content would be fairly similar with the obvious changes for the location through out the entire site and the ability to book appointments in the new location, but I'm not sure if I should start an entirely new site with a new domain (Ex. originaldomain-city.com ) or try something like wordpress multisite and just have a subdomain with the new site being city.originaldomain.com (this would be ideal I think -- just not sure what to do SEO wise)

I'd like to benefit from the seo and keywords that are already implemented on my current site and just create that second branch with the updated location throughout a pretty much duplicated site. I do know any duplicated content on multiple sites isn't good for google so I would probably re-word some content if need be.

I'm just stumped on the best way to go about this multiple location issue with a pre-existing site that is optimized for a specific location already.

Any help would be great! And I'm new to the fourms so I hope I submitted this thread in the correct area.

So, this leads to 2 questions:

1) Is there any problem with having up to 10 affiliate links on a page/post?

2) Does Google interpret link cloaking as a deceptive spammy practice intended to mislead the site visitor?
