Well its running in .Net environment which means its highly unlikely its open source.
If your looking for a free shopping cart then osCommerce is a good place to start.

If your comfortable in .net then sitepoint have a tutorial on building one for free http://www.sitepoint.com/article/net-shopping-cart-datatables apart from that I'm afaraid you'll have to pay for .net ecomm software.

What about this cart?
"raceinspired.com" I'm looking for something that you can have categories and universal searches. Example You can find it 2 ways Eagle > Talon > Flywheels > ACT > PRODUCT(Eagle Talon Flywheel) Flywheels > ACT > PRODUCTS (ALL FLYWHEELS) But you only enter the part 1 time, and it shows up under 2 categories. |

If your hunting for a shopping cart then my advice would be first to get a cart that is SEO friendly - you have less chance of pages falling supplemental if you have more order over page elements.
You already run on a php cart but osCommerce isn't cutting it for you judging by your posts about search functionality. I'd look at digiShop -- its SEO friendly, code is validated to at least 4.01 Transitional, CSS driven without over-done nested tables, decent search facility but it is around $400. I know its not Open Source but you may have to develop your own custom made cart or eventually buy an off-the-shelve model with all the trimmings. |

The cart was built by Elexient, from the ground up with no 3rd party controls. Currently the cart is geared towards the automotive industry and is used on several other automotive accessory sites as well. I was lucky enough to be involved with Elexient when the first version of the cart was being built. I was able to help them work towards making a shopping cart system that was easy to update, add products, manage pricing, and basically every aspect of the site itself. Ive played with a lot of shopping carts over the years and have yet to find one as easy to use. When we started talking to owners of ecommerce sites, they stated their biggest problem was only having one employee that was able to edit and add parts to the website and add anything to the website itself. This cart solves all the problems. Any employee at any company can use this to edit the site and products. Of course, the owner of the site sets the settings to determine what areas of the site an employee has access to because the customers information is all on there and lets face it, some employees just shouldnt be allowed to mess with certain parts of a website. Some of the features (not near all of them, cause theres a bunch)- Mass Editing of products by brand or category- Pricing, Desc, Meta info, basically you can edit an entire product line in less than a minute. Prices can be raised or lowered across the board by a dollar amount or a percentage and shipping is calculated automatically and allows for multiple items by figuring which can be bundled together and which cant and adjust shipping rates accordingly. Uploading product lines by spreadsheets- Saves lots of time Manage Categories- Manage Vehicles- Manage Brands- Credit Card Processing- The way the site is setup with SE friendly urls and the general layout makes it very marketable. We had some trouble at first, but after doing some homework on this great site, we were able to figure things out to make it a bit more SE friendly. Ive had great luck marketing the sites with this cart system. I could go on and on and really in depth but i wont bore you all, but i will include some screenshots of the cp. If you all have any questions or want more info about the features, ill be glad to answer them for you. My interest has been piqued by this conversation.
I got a feelin' in my gut I've just been scammed although I would like to be proved wrong - if a mod could check the ip's or something - saying that its a good set-up and the cart does look excellent - so what works for ya. |

Are you thinking that me (Injected) am the same guy as LyfeWorkx? Your post was a little unclear to me as to why you would like the mods to check the ip addy. I can assure you that i dont know who Lyfeworx is except that when i googled his screen name i was able to find his url and shopping cart setup he currently uses. Just trying to clarify, and thank you for the compliments on the cart |

We are not the same user, i'm interested in the software. In this industry it's not about what you have but what you can get / showcase. I use to work for a rather large retailer which we had a custom coded shopping cart that worked great, now i'm working for a smaller company with a much smaller budget.

I was of that assumption, yes. However as I stated, I am more than happy to be proved wrong in this instance. Your cart does look special - what sort of RRP would you be selling this for? |

If the mods would like to check the IPs im positive that you will see that we are different users on opposite ends of the country. I work out of KY, and i believe Lyfeworkx is from Washington. Thanks again. The price right now is based upon the features asked for. We are just now starting to develop this as a software that we can sell vs the way it is now as a shopping cart and site building tool. We are always talking to our customers and building features to suite any need each customer has. Depending on the site and its needs is what determines the features and that in turn determines the price. It is a great system though. I wish i could show everyone just how easy it is to use and manage their website through online, but its one of those things i show potential clients and as soon as they play with it, they are hooked. |
