The best things to market online

Hi,

I would like to sell a tangible, non-technical product online, and become terribly rich.

Till now, I have sold my services that included writing and developing e-commerce websites for other people or companies. Now I would really want my own product or want to sell someone else's from my own online store. But I can’t decide what to sell. However I know what I don’t want to sell; based on my non-scientific observations.

I have jotted down a few characteristics of what I feel would constitute "the perfect internet product". Please feel free to add to, or criticise this list, or suggest products for me to sell online.

The product should be:

- Cheap to produce /assemble.
- Be of a simplistic nature, (no tech support or (after sales)
- Be light in weight (better if virtual)
- In low fraud category.
- Be free of ethical or legal issues interntionally

What do you say guys! What do you feel are the best things to market online that will surely make me insanely rich?

Sell "air". It meets all of your criteria:
- cheap to produce
- simple to use
- very light
- no associated fraud
- ethical and legal

I think maybe you forgot a few criteria:
- has a high demand (air passes this as well)
- has low competition (ahhh, air fails)

Once you add those in, NOTHING fits. If anything was that easy, lots of people would do it, in which case competition sets in, lowering profit margins until it is no longer possible to make much money at it without selling huge quantities, in which case your business then gets exponentially more complex...

I'm sure that if someone is selling that product they would not be sharing it. Would you create a new competitor if you had found the holy grail of profitable enterprise with no work required?

Soiled womens underwear is a rocking good product.

A few generic pictures of women.
A bucket of boiled fish heads to dunk the crotch in.
Snappy bags to seal the flavour in.

Jobs a good un and you are counting the $$ on your yacht
