Does anyone have good leads for site where I can find free or open source templates ffor websites?

I wouldn't suggest an e-commerce template...
.. when you can probably design one very easily.

high conversions is right.... the best you can do is take that design and redo it in dreamweaver or what ever software you use.

Becuase some templates are cut in photoshop and this software usually puts alot of garbage code on it.
