StoresOnline - Should I Bother
One of my distant family members came up to me the other day and handed me all this stuff for StoresOnline. Apparently he purchased it at a conference a few years ago even though he is in Road Construction and knows nothing about computers.
Basically he told me if I start it up and run it(find products, suppliers, and etc.) he would split any profit with me. I have never done any Ecommerce except for Ebay. ha. I'm just wondering if this is worth it? I have read some terrible reviews about StoresOnline. I live in Canada and I'm also concerned about any tax issues that the "software" will not handle. Any advice would be awesome. |

If you have read terrible things about this company, I think you have answered your own question. IMHO I think you should look into other options. When in doubt... Hope this helps.

You are going to do all the work and he's going to split the profits with you?
Don't do it.. a bank loan or line of credit will be much better for you in the long run. |

If you plan to do this, then offer him a generous $100 for his stake and run it yourself.

The smart thing to do is not to jump in to it with the first company that you hear about. Do research, ask around about other companies, approach their clients.
I agree with Faith, if you've heard bad reviews, that's already sounding bad about the company. It's not going to be easy money, be prepared for hard work.
