Set up UPS tracking and cost information
how do certain e-commerce sites display to the penny information on shipping from ups and fedex? sometimes these sites even have tracking information.


also, would the shipping label be emailed my company? how would we go about shipping?

UPS has an API that you can interact with using curl from any website. This can give you up to the minute shipping quotes to any destination as well as tracking information for your customers.

Some ecommerce software packages include these features. Otherwise you can definitely pay a developer to hook up a custom solution for you.

I haven't messed with FedEX but I'm sure they have an interactive API as well.

UPS worldship is a software system that you can install on any PC. It will print labels directly for you as well as emailing your customers tracking information. This is what we use. Works great.
