SEO friendly cart that talks to MYOB

Hi all,

I have a lovely client who is willing to let me have a crack at doing some SEO work on her site even though she is aware that I am an SEO novice.

She is quite happy for me to change whatever I need to, and one of things I would like to do is update the shopping cart (the site is currently using the free PayPal script).

I am hunting around for a shopping cart that:

• is SEO friendly
• can be easily added to an existing site
• interacts with MYOB
• Does not require me to stand on my head, scratch my nose and drink a mug of chicken soup simultaneously to work out how to install it!

Currently, I'm leaning towards Ultra Cart, as it seems to be closest to my specs with the exception of the MYOB compatability.

I'll elaborate a little.

SEO Friendly cart: Shopping cart application that produces pages (or is incorporated into an existing page as per my example of ultra cart above) that are easy to read by search engines. For example, a cart that produces pages with static URLs that look something like this:

www.yourdomain.com/product123.htm

as opposed to a dynamically generated URL that will look something like this:

www.yourdomain.com/products_info.php?products_id=123&cPath=1

I don't remember mentioning AJAX in any way shape or form - perhaps you were reading the washing powder box?

As for MYOB - if you haven't heard of them, try myob.com - I'm sure that will enlighten you!!

Further to my original post, I like the Ultra cart option due to the fact that I can add to an existing page, however I don't want to go this way.

Ultra Cart only supports US$ and the site is based in Australia and will be targeted mainly at Oceania region, therefore I'd prefer support for AUD$.

Thanks europa - I have had a read and that looks like a cart that would satisfy all requirements and well priced too IMHO.

I'll have a play with the free trial and see if we like each other
