Levi, as you can see in both of my personal replies to you, I was very polite and very quick to respond.
As I also said, in a previous email, I had not received an email from you before then. I do not know what address you sent to before hand, but whatever it was, it was not a legitimate email address. If all was taken care of, why the need for the harsh words? I take my work very personal and do everything I can to help anyone that contacts me. I honestly feel bad when someone is angry because of something related to us. I don't know what else to say here... Once again, I apologize if there was something that I did to upset you. Brad

Brad, I never did say you where not impolite, unlike yourself you bleatingly lied while trying to save your face on this forums by saying I said some colorful words and used a system that I have never used.
Saying my email is not valid is also a understatement as you where communication with me on that email after the BBB got in contact with you. After the BBB got in contact with you where very quick to respond, but before that time you never did. I will be more then happy to post all email to and from your email address to show complete records along with IP’s and time stamps, and I have people that can back me up one what I have said here as well. I understand your trying to cover your public image, but its best for you to just say that you messed up, and that it has been taken care of. As you can see from the point that this thread started to the point where I ended it, I never got hostile about it, and when the problem was fixed I let everyone know. Quote:

Hi Levi, I completely understand your point of view. I would be very angry if I sent an email for 3 months with no reply. Can you please look back at your history of "sent" emails that were never responded to? And check the "to" email address. I honestly have a feeling it was sent to an account that does not exist. Possibly "info@seoelite.com" which is an autoresponder stating that the account was closed because of receiving too much junk mail. And then listed was the new contact information. Could that be what happened?
The reason you received replies from me after the BBB complaint was because I initiated the email from my email address which does exist. I think this whole ordeal is a big misunderstanding. I apologize for posting anything public, as that was definitely not my intention to stir any bitterness. Brad |

You are correct about that it is the info at seoelite.com, but I also checked for a auto response and I did not get any. I only have 3 emails from you all, and 10 emails I sent you all in the time that I have had the program.
As far as my concern the problem was fixed back when I gave the BBB a call, so Im satisfied as noted before. Even with the no response or bad emails or whatever the problem was that we could not get the communication going it has been fixed. |

Brad some devils advocate advice from one that knows... Right, wrong, or indifferent, the customer is what keeps you in business. Along with SEO I co-developed a retail pearl jewelry website. At Xmas - a customer bought a necklace for his wife, after Christmas he wanted to return it [no idea why - that isn't the point]... for 5 weeks they used the RMA formmail and got no response... [why no idea - possibly because they didn't but that isn't the point] My first indication that something was awry was the BBB report... Again - Right, wrong, or indifferent, the customer is what keeps you in business... my respond to this situation was: 1. full refund 2. keep the product 3. paid reservations for 2 to an elegant local restaurant. All of this was also sent to BBB including receipts... Personally - I think the customers first email was to the BBB since the RMA formmail worked "before, during, and after" this customer used it over the "suggested 5 weeks... professionally though that does not matter... Right, wrong, or indifferent, the customer is what keeps you in business... and one dissatisfied customer can have you doing 100 X more damage control which is more costly than what I paid to ensure they were satisfied. Be that as it may - "pearl jewelry is lucrative" - intangible software [one design low reproduction cost - sell to many at high margin] is moreso... a wise man turns "disadvantage into advantage". cannot contact SEO Elite
After purchasing SEO Elite on their website, the site simply closed without giving me any information. I don't have the software, nor do I know how to get it. I tried to reply to the emails I have been getting, but they just kick out an auto response that tells me to go to the help site, which is useless because I don't have the information needed to gain access to the site. After searching in vane for a way to contact SEO Elite, here I am, hoping I will get someone to help me resolve this issue.

Hello, when you visit our support center, you must click the button on the top left that allows you to "create an account".
Once you create and account, you may 1. submit support tickets 2. search through our "frequently asked questions" 3. respond to previous tickets Hope that helps. P.S. the support center is located here: http://www.bryxensoftware.com/support/ |

Bryxen Software no longer in business?
Having looked up Bryxen Software on the BBB web site (http://search.bbb.org/), here is what it says as of July 19, 2006:
"According to information in the Bureau files, it appears that the company is no longer in business. The phone numbers the Bureau had for this company are disconnected, and directory assistance does not have a listing for this company. The Bureau's mail to this company has been returned as undeliverable. If you have an unresolved dispute with this company you may wish to seek legal advice." |

... yet another reason why the BBB isn't the best place to reference a business. If an office moves, their records are very dated and, in my opinion, they do a very bad job with updating their records. We've moved into a new and improved office in late May, 06, and the message you probably read is their basic "template" message when a company's information cannot be found OR has been changed.
A Google search on the BBB brings up some major faults of the BBB. One of which was this article: http://www.mazu.com/scams/bbb.php Personally, I have nothing against the BBB, but often times consumers are misled because of lack of information about the organization itself. It's funny how a simple forum thread can go into so many directions. Lesson learned: If you read a forum thread and you want to better explain a situation, it's usually best to just ignore it and not get involved. Otherwise, as you can see, the thread will get very skewed and out of hand. Our business is most definitely alive and kicking. As I mentioned above, should you need support regarding any of our products, please submit a support ticket and you should be answered within 24 hours: http://www.bryxensoftware.com/support/ Thank you ~ Last edited by callenb : August 7th, 2006 at 01:18 PM. |

Damn You Brad!!!
I can't get a hold of him either and I used the support forum and the email. Anybody have a phone number for him. It seems the number in his whois info is disconnected. You'd think there'd be an easy solution for moving your SEO Elite from one computer to another, it has to happen at least 3 times a week.
Brad, maybe you should make a members section where we can login and set our own computer IDs. Just a thought.

Devil's Advocate... First though my disclaimer... I never used this product -- frankly my skills are far superior. No tool or tutorial will ever generate returns or results... you do. I would say SEO Elite is not some magic bullet that you buy and will forever rank you without any ounce of effort on your part. Search engines change the way they do things regularly and a tool nor a tutorial can predict nor pre-date such changes. I professionally hand-trained 24 merchants in SEO, 21 QUIT the "knowledge to learn" was easy, the practice of using that knowledge was (for lack of better words) sucked on their part... they desired a magic bullet. I would guess that SEO Elite is a fair place to start... but it cannot do all the work for you. So in light of your noted (likely dated testimonials) a purchase of $167.00 USD isn't going to be a short cut to unprecedented returns unless you intend to dedicate to the tasks you MUST dedicate to. I can't speak to the claims of testaments but I can speak from a qualified SEO vantagepoint that charged $5K/month/website - it's alot of analysis & work... so the program can 'likely' get you focused on what to do that works... but it certainly can't make you do it.
