I used to run an apache, mysql, php server off my home win2k box. I used a package from nusphere that you could download for free. It set everything up and got everything working with just their installer. I tried manually doing it, but it was a pain in the neck at the time. Not sure if they still offer the free package, but check it out.

Thanks for your responses. I have installed PHP & MYSQL on my server at home. I am basically a microsoft developer and having connection problems to MYSql DB. I have wasted quite a few hours tring to get this to work. The code uses PHPNuke is there a difference in PHPNuke and regular PHP.
