I have an issue I am hoping someone can help me take care of

With me it seems that the complete payment process goes through with paypal and the customer gets a notification of the sale as do I get a email notification of the sale (stating pending) (but I check with paypal and the funds have transferred).. BUT in oscommerce under Reports/Customer Order Total it shows PENDING and never gets updated.. is their any other status??

Ugg. I disagree. PayPal may not be the worst but I hope they are not number one. We used to use Verisign Payflow Pro before they were bought out by PayPal. After PP bought them out I don't think I have had a single week without server response errors from PayPal.
We never had that problem before. And my Developers even caught a bug in their code. Their sandbox doesn't work right so we can't run unit tests reliably... etc. etc. They even duplicated all of our transactions one day for no reason. Very sloppy for a bank.

Yeah, Paypal is one of those necesary evils, along with Google Checkout. They don't always work as you want with your webstores, but they give your store more security credit.
