Exclamation Payment processor and Sales Tax....
We are with an incompetent payment processor+fulfillment service at the moment and would like to move to our own. We sell software and hardware worldwide. Meaning that we have to deal with the sales tax if we move to our own merchant account. This looks like it is a huge pain. So I'm trying to stick with a payment processor that works as a 'reseller' like 2CO or RegNow.

Since we need to do fulfillment I need a payment processor that works as a 'reseller' and allows for 3rd party integration for shipping calculation. 2CO seems to allow this but I've read quite a few negative reviews. Is there a company similar to 2CO with a better reputation?

I would check with BankCard Central. They have several different options.

2checkout is a good company. If you look you'll see negative reviews for every payment processor. Most of the time the complaints are from ignorance on the sellers part. If 2checkout offers the service you need I would say you can be confident in using them.

2Checkout works fine and has good reputation. Also for the software selling you may try digitalriver.com services since they offer more options to sell software (protection keys, affiliate programs, handle discounts etc). I'm not sure about hardware. Please check with them.
