Online Sales Manager

Hi Everybody.

My name is Jared. I started a business last year under the Young Enterprise Scheme in New Zealand. We created a CD of music to aid in study and learning and are in the process of writing a book to go with it (we are thinking of having an online and hard copy of the product available).

The reason I am posting is that I am investigating hiring someone to handle the online marketing and sales of our product. I was wondering whether it is possible to find someone that would handle the web development and sales for a large percentage of the sales price.

I would appreciate it if people would tell me what they think of this idea

Thanks Jared.

It's a very difficult task to find someone who will promote your product. I'd suggest to apply for affiliate programs where you will offer percentage of sales to your affiliates. But as I know affiliate programs can give you just 10% of the income. The other 90% of income will come from the other sales channels.
