Negative? Site A uses a cart on Site B
I have a few sites and some of them connect to a shopping cart on a different domain. This is done through a form rather than a hyperlink and is done for economy of time and money.
Has anyone gone from sending their sales to a separate domain to installing onsite ecommerce? Did you see a positive move in your rankings? It would not surprise me if this happens. Please let me know if this is true? Thanks!

EGOL - I'm going to be switching over a cart on one of our sites in the next 2 months, but I think one of the problems you'll encounter in measuring this is that so many people use this kind of shift not just for changing out the shopping functions, but also to re-design, tweak and SEO their site a little or a lot. It might be hard to tell for sure what made the difference.
I have noticed (as I'm sure you have) that Google's SERPs reflect a lot of large sites and adding a cart certainly adss quite a few more spiderable pages depending on how it's implemented... |

Right you are on that randfish. I was thinking about doing this without much of a change on my site, but this could be an opportunity to make a really big move. Thanks for getting me thinking about this.
