Need a recommended Hosting company

It looks like my hosting company won't allow me to use a purchased shopping cart as they provide one, problem is theirs has alot of problems with it so it looks like I am in need of a hosting company, I might add they have been a good one and it will be hard to find one that wil beat them, but move on I must. I need a recommened hosting company that someone else is as pleased with their hosting company as I have been mine. Thanks for your help. God Bless Joe Mullinax

They won't allow you to use a purchased cart ? That doesn't make much sense.
What cart are you using ?

And, what features do you require for your new host? That would help alot

Instead of recommending a good one, I will tell you who to avoid:

www.mysitespace.com : Horrible people, rude and ignorant, they deleted some of my site's tables because their crappy servers couldn't handle my site. They don't even bother to reply to trouble tickets.

www.Existhosting.com : Terrible service, my site was down several times, and they take many hours to answer the trouble tickets.

www.surfspeedy.com : My emails started bouncing back with an "unroutable domain" error, and they just gave excuses and never fixed my problem

It has been a nightmare finding a good host. It is the 4th time I move my site in less than 2 months.

It is always better to rent a server, then you can do anything you feel like.
The cost per site is a little higher (unless you own 40 web sites), but it is worth paying for the freedom.

On the topic of web hosts to avoid, always check their IP and the IP they are going to give you in www.spews.org.

Thanks for your replies. I got the problem taken care of. I stayed with my present hosting company they have been a good one so I will recommend them to the one having the problems www.experthost.com I can say they take care of any issues that has come up, I may add I have been with them for 3 years now and have had very few issues. Heck when I was using twice my allowed bandwidth they transferred me to another server to keep from shutting me down, not many hosting companies would have done that. I have been moved to allow for the extra banwith ussage.
I checked around and I found out what I was needing to do to set up the cart I would have to have a dedicated server. I needed scripts and executables set up for my cgi-bin. Anyway all is taken care of the cart is working great cart32.
