What is the best way to set up just one page that the user has to pay to view?

Make it be the page that they are forwarded to after they've paid. You should at the very least, though, some sort of landing page or sales letter to help build the value.

I agree with Ramses... I don't know the advantage of having just one page, and you would need supporting pages for payment etc. but you could display a container if the user was logged in/approved on the one page.
