Gunjamp.. this is quite a big question to ask. The fact it is in asp is immaterial, the fact it is an e-commerce site is immaterial. The things you did to optimise the HTML and PHP sites are the same things you have to do for this new site. If the pages have dynamic urls do some research on url-rewriting. It is much better to read up and learn about and apply SEO and ask for specific guidance on specific items rather than asking a very generic and almost meaningless question.

general advice - you have to optimize template of the dynamic site, make sure that all important elements of SEO are done. <title> has to contain your keywords and be similar to <h1> title, keywords, content, etc. Dynamic sites are built differently, so you should understand ASP to make real optimization. |

The fact that this is eCommerce is not immaterial. It is very important.
One of the crucial flaws on an eCommerce site can be the category/product structure. Often people set up their catelogs so products are listed (either as duplicate or linked products) in more than one category. This risks displaying duplicate content and being penalized for it. You can deal with that two ways: 1. Stop the spider from crawling duplicate product pages 2. Make sure that in some way a duplicate product's page is in fact different. |
