E-Comerce Redirection
Hello,
My E-Commerce App does 3 re-directions before arriving the final home page. the reason for this is because it deals 1st page with affiliates, 2on with some server variables, 3rd with what king of products and categories to show and 4Th finally the home page.
I have tested on some spiders and most of them are able to index from the root domain (so redirects seem not to give any problems). But I am concerned that real spider won't like this so the ranking of my page will be affected.
I have the option to publish a not style htm file with all my dynamic site (products and categories).
Do you think I should choose to put this file as the home page for spidering? If so: will this mean that once my site has been indexed and the search engine brings visitors to my site the visitors will 'arrive' to the not style page? I don't thing that would be a good situation, any solution? If I have the htm and the 'real' site, wouldn't it be considered duplicate content?
To sum up, is there something I can do to improve the situation of so many redirects?
Many thanks.
