The tips and links that you provided were VERY helpful...I'll give you a BIG hug if I'm next to you, but sorry~
Any suggestions in terms of hosting? I'm switching the hosting company from Godaddy.com (yeah, yeah, I know they are more than just SUCKS), I have to re-build all the contents/pages myself...any suggestion on a good hosting company that offers a "complete" package for a dummy such as me? Wink~ Thanks for a bunch... |

This is an informative thread with lots of good information. I was going to start a thread but there is so much good information here. Just looked at conversions. Off our logs we have a 5% conversion rate. (Its actually higher as we have calls from people who referenced the web as how they found us.) Those are just contacts. Our web contacts into sales are about 1/3. So are sales conversion rate from uniques is about 1.7%-2.5-3%. Not great. Guess I'll do a lot of reading and also speak more to our visitors to get their input.
BTW, as a bricks and mortar business that is over 20 years old our highest conversion rate has always been word of mouth. Happy customers refer other customers. Dave Last edited by earlpearl : October 6th, 2004 at 01:27 PM. |
