Can someone review my website. My conversion rate is like 0.

Hi!

Can someone who is great at website conversion review my website and let me know what I have done wrong?

I am almost into depression mode now. I have been fighting with this site for a while. The address is churchandweddingdecorations.com

I get between 150 and 250 visitors a day. This has been going on for a while now. I am on page 1 of google for my two home page phrases, buy still no conversions. I am wondering what I have done wrong, but I can't see it. HELP!!! Desperately need to know if I'm going customer friendly blind or something.

I also have another problem. Only my 1st page gets good rankings. My inner pages have some good keywords too but they're not doing so good. How can I get them on page 1 like my first page?

Thanks and awaiting response.
Sharon.

The design is decent, nothing to jump up and down at. It looks pretty well laid out though, I don't see any major flaws that would cause customers to run away.

Have you installed google analytics to see what keywords people are getting to your site with? Just because you have traffic does not mean it's the right traffic. People could be searching for unrelated terms and clicking on you.

Thanks for your reply. When I check my webstats, people are typing in words which are my keywords and I do carry wedding decorations, which are the keywords people are looking for. Maybe my products are too limited since I only have like just over 1000 products. Lemme know what you think. Thanks. I tried to install google analytics, but my host is to get back to me since I'm having some problems installing it. Thanks.

- Please note that your site breaks in Firefox. This could be an issue for your visitors that use that browser.

- On the front page, I suggest that you make the pictures of the flowers into active clickable links.

- Take all of the "100% money back guarantee" "Visa/Mastercard etc." "Live support" from the front page, and put it in your shopping cart and checkout process pages. This reassures buyers that you're a legitimate business (with phone support staff), might encourage people who are uncomfortable buying online to order by phone (instead of leaving the site), and reassures buyers that they can receive their money back if they're not happy. All of this "reassurance" is vital at the final stage of the purchase.

- "You must have a paypal account to order from us" (in the privacy policy). Actually, I'm sure that they can use Visa/MC etc. without having a Paypal account. Its just that Paypal would like to do their best for people to sign up, instead of just using their credit card. This might be a barrier for people who are unfamiliar w/ internet purchases (ex. the grandparents of a bride, the local pastor), and I know that this was a barrier for me when I was just starting to buy online. Say something to the effect that "your data is safe with Paypal, a massive and responsible company. All you need for the purchase is to create a temporary account on our site, and your credit card".

- If possible, try to arrange to avoid the signup at your site before they purchase. Your shopping cart solution may have this ability - its just the elimination of an unnecessary step along the buying path.

- Just an idea: people are coming to your homepage looking for wedding decorations, but all you show them on the homepage are flowers. Show them a variety of decorative items. Or, show them a picture of a fully arranged table, and say something like "you can have an arrangement like this. Everything you see in this picture can be purchased from us!".

- You've got great products, good luck and keep at it!

thts how u ve to optimize ur home page.... great powerscript for sharing such a good info. However i think you should have a flash header ... this type of website should ve a flash to attract user, look and feel factor works here. Its easy to get well ranked in search engines but its very tought to get business online, thats why the design should be appealing. And for inner pages ...i suggest select 2 inner pages and start link exchange campaign with keyword on title and description.

You are right, that look and feel is a factor. But design should not be obstruction in search engine ranking. First you need to reach to the visitors, then the look and feel will come into the play.

It's not so easy to get good ranking in search engine.

It looks fine now. Last night, only on the homepage, half of the featured items were floating out into the gray area at the right of the page.

install Google analytis and test keywords.

Get a live support plug-in.

Put a certificate that your site is hacker-safe. You need to give money for the companies to check and certificate your webisite.

Just a few tips to improve your conversion.

Your keyword is way too vague.

You need to get the very specific key phrases people are searching for, and point them to very specific landing pages. If you do this, and focus that landing page on the benefits, I guarantee you'll make sales.

People land on your homepage which has so many links for them to click on. Take them to where they need to go instead of letting them do the work.

Good luck!
