The advice is good advice and if done correctlywill get you ranking well...HOWEVER, and it is a big however...

Close your eyes and then take an objective look at your site...

What do you see? I see lots of links that looks more like a spammy directory, i see nothing that inpsires me to say.

You can get as many people to your site as you like but if it lacks in decent copy or content you won't get the conversions which is what its all about.
