Amazon.....
May be this is not a appropriate category to post this post but I don't find other also... so posting here..
I need amazon inventory help from all.. I have to upload many different product in different category... and I have successfully uploaded in Amazon... I am working in Amazon for first time.... They only category left out is shoes. Here in shoes category he want to display size and in product item pages... for this I study and found it is necessary to make parent-child relationship... I made this relationship as sample file downloaded from amazon.... but showing me error like SKU [abc-1] cannot be matched to an existing product for the following reason: [NOT PROVIDED standard_product_id , ]. For more details, see http://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/27091 We cannot recognize your child SKU [abc-1]. For help on how to proceed, see http://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/23701 SKU [abc-1] provided was not active; price was not updated. Cannot associate image with an existing product. For more details, see http://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/25541 This SKU does not exist in the Amazon.com catalog. Your inventory data was not processed. For reasons why, and help fixing this, see http://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/25001 I have read all this help file above mentioned also but no result.... It is compulsory to provide UPC number to make relationship in parent-child as I was not providing. I think UPC number is like barcode number and every product have unique... what the supplier dont have this and not willing to buy this number.. Than how can I display size information on product item page..... Help urgent..... thanks

That is the only error line that matters. It is telling you that your SKU was not entered into the amazon database because you did not provide a standard-product-id, usually the UPC. All of the other errors happen because the product is not in the database. You have to give amazon a UPC. If the product doesnt have one than you can't upload the product. I have plenty of products I cant sell on Amazon because they do not have UPCs and Amazon requires it for certain templates. pm |

Yes, I known this we have to give UPC/EAN etc number.....but client have not supplied this number...
I want to known is there another way to upload the product without UPC... I have upload many products and it have seen successful uploaded and selling also in Amazon.... But uploaded product are stand-alone products..... i.e. such products are not related with each other... in it no parent-child relationship.... I am getting problem in uploading the products.... and showing error mentioned above in this parent-child relationship product upload..... any other commands..... from you and others..... |

If the vendor does not supply the UPC then you cannot list the product on Amazon. If you want you can open a case file with them through seller central but I have done that in the past and this was their response:
"Most all of the categories now require a UPC. I have checked with the Category Managers and unfortunately there are no exemptions for UPC's." So as far as I know you won't be able to list that product on Amazon. Amazon isn't Ebay. It is more concerned with the buyer than the seller and has some pretty inflexible policies. But open a case file with them to make sure you have no other options, Sorry. pm |

I will add. One thing you can do, although I am sure Amazon would not like it, is find a template/category that does not require a UPC and put the product there. For example, uploading your shoes as an automotive product.
Like I say, Amazon probably doesnt like that and you may get in trouble but its the only way I know around the UPC requirement. Furthermore that means that someone will only find your shoes if searching all of amazon or, rarely, searching for shoes in the automotive category. So you may have your product on Amazon but sell very little. |

Recently I came to know that there is a website named AmazingWatcher.Com which is a free website that will “watch” items for you on Amazon and let you know when amazon has them in stock at regular retail price. It got so awesome! Good luck everybody! |
