There are lots of answers to that question... it depends on the content and purpose of the page. Some of my pages are generated automatically from databases and take no time once the program is written and working. But I have only a couple of sites with this type of page.
My most important pages take a long time to create. Not because they are fancy but instead because I have spent a lot of time researching the topic, writing informative content and creating just the right graphics. These pages are the ones that earn me links. These pages take a couple days each to write and a long background of education and experience.
Some day soon IMO, google will start counting the relevance and depth of your content and giving it at least as much importance as how many links you have. I am not talking about SEO - I am talking about what you have contributed to the web.
