Wordpress question
I'm new to the whole blogging thing believe it or not. I recently decided to go with Wordpress because it seems to be a very extendable product with the plugins which leads me to my question:
I'm interested in using Wordpress because of its flexability and ability to achieve good quality SEO for my blog. I highly value the advice given in this forum so I would like to know which plugins you recommend I use for Wordpress to achieve the best possible SEO (when used correctly of course)? I found this article: Plugins to use for Wordpress SEO but since I'm so new, I don't know if the plugins he suggested are good, if that's an old article, etc.. Look foward to the forum's input =) Mike Last edited by dax702 : June 26th, 2006 at 05:52 PM. |

(I know that this is an old thread but I say it via a seach for something else and noticed that there wasn't any follow up)
I wouldn't worry about plugins. Best bet would be correctly and well thought out categories for each post as well as making sure you have the permalinks set to use the title of your posts within the URL. In other words, don't leave it as the default setting. I'm big on categories since the search spiders would be picking up on those as well. Hope this helps, -drmike |
