Who's got my RSS?

Hi Guys and Ladies,

Anyone have any idea of if and how I can find out how many people subscribed to my RSS feed? As far as I know the only one that shows you is Bloglines which shows you te number of subscribers in the logs.

BTW, I use MovableType as my platform, and its own RSS pinging plugins, but also get regulaly indexed by Yahoo Feedseeker.

Thanks

Depending on how your site is set up you may be able to get the data from your logs. In AWStats you can look at the number of times your XML file is pulled. It won't give you the exact number of people subscribing to your feed but if you use a more robust program you can probably get that sort of data.

I'm pretty sure you're going to have to buy software to get the info you're looking for. You can try bothunter...it's something jocelyn developed and can give you pretty detailed info from your logs.

Use Feedburner . It allows site and post stats.

Would I be correct to assume that using something like blogspot leaves me playing the guessing game?

I have worked pretty hard on my blog and the only indication of anyone looking at the blog is the profile views, and that seems to have maxed out at 215 for some reason. I am certain that more than that have at the very least viewed the profile (at least I am guessing).

I wish there was a way to get the traffic results or some kind of RSS subscription count that i could use on blogspot. I have thought about starting a new blog, but that will take me a lot of time to get it to where the one I have now is at.

Edit* Maybe there is nothing for blogs, i would assume it would be similar to RSS feeds right?
