Where to submit?

Hi, I'm new to this blog and SEO thinking but was wondering if anyone would give me some advice on different forms of article submission?

I've written one or two articles for my works blog (360innovate .co. uk /blog/) but have recently written a more tongue in cheek post for a restaurants blog (malletsheugh. co .uk /index. php /2007/ 06/25/hangover-cures/) and although I have submitted this to a few article sites I am wondering if there is anywhere more suitable to submit this? So far submitted to ideasmarket, ezine, go articles and added it as a WTF on technorati. I was thinking along the lines of younger blogs/communities but not sure where to start?

Any ideas/comments welcome :-)

And one final thing, I posted this in seo refugee too is it pretty much the same forum as here as it is very similar? Just curious...

just post on all major and some minor article directory and also blog sites.

the more directories that you submit to, the better you will be.

technorati, blogger, digg, yahoo, google, ect ect are all good places to be submitting your articles mate ;)

Just go to the category where you want to submit and you will see the button with "Post New Thread"

I have all these in my update services. I was told if you dont take out pingomatic you will be double pinging and then you will be considered spam. Should I just use pingomatic only? I just started removing my list when I update so it doesnt ping again. I'm worried I'm overkilling and making myself look like spam.

You should also submit your articles to all the social bookmarking sites like Raw Sugar, Blinklist, etc. I don't have a list, but you can find some good ones by Googling "social bookmarking list."
