With wordpress there is a lot of duplicated content on homepage, archive, the search, rss, categories ect..
Can anyone tell me what pages to noindex or nofollow to be SEO friendly? PS. I don't understand if you post and block out all the copies, when the content is off the homepage nothing will be indexed for that post anymore. Should I not worry about duplicated? |

What I do on my wordpress blog is when I write a post I use the code view and there is a button that you can use "More" which will break the post. What I do is put this tag after the first paragraph which when posted it will only show on the home page the first paragraph and will give a link to read the rest of the post. So when the search engines crawl you site it will only index the first paragraph of every post on your homepage, and it will index the whole post on it's actual page eliminating duplicate content. Also on the archives I don't allow that folder to be indexed. This method has helped me with the duplicate content issue your asking about.
