Upload Wordpress to root directory, sub directory or sub domain?

hello!

I'd welcome any advice on the following issue...

I'm about to upload Wordpress to start a blog, and I'm unsure whether to upload it to the root directory, sub directory or sub domain?

I want to ensure I start off with the best option to futureproof the whole blog for SEO.

Thank you for the advice in advance.

BG

Better you start in sub dir.
As after having a number of blogs it will be easy to manage a folder rather than messing it up with the other root files.
Also it is easy to promote a sub domain if you have a promoted domain, but if you want to promote your main domain you should start your blog as dir (making it a section of your domain).

I integrated wordpress to my site in a sub directory called "blog". I never had any problems doing so.

IMO, if the website is only a blog, put it in the root but if you plan on doing like me (blog attached to website), a sub directory will do just fine.
