I have built a site that I am proud of, included is a daily blog. I update this blog every morning with a new topic and opinion.

How much will this help my seo for this site? Is there anything specific that I can do in my blog to help my site's ranking?

I'm reminded of something that an old Chief in the military said once... GET NOTICED! Stand out in the crowd of the many that just pretend to be important.

The web is pretty crowded for blogs in most industries and MOST (or many) blog the same deal... basic posts that are of little interest to anyone, regurgitated facts or news that while they do add content to your website they don't do much else.

Try and consider something extremely unique at least one a month (if not more) that is truly worthy of exposure... you will find that such developments pay dividends 100% over the value of the time it took to create.

Professionally, I'm pretty innovative but can't write worth crap. So I narrate my thoughts and pay others to create artwork.
