Squidoo...any thoughts?
Not technically a blog platform, Squidoo allows users to create a "lens" on particular subjects. I've set a few up with RSS feeds from multiple blogs, as well as videos.

Obviously keeping the RSS feeds fresh with material is key, but I noticed the google ranking of these squidoo lenses would vary wildly from day to day (even on pretty non-competitive keyterms). Not that I'm expecting my squidoo site to reach the google top 5, but I couldn't really link the change in ranking to any one factor, or so it would seem.
