As Big as Them

I guess ive kinda used autoblog as an expample because its the biggest automotive blog ive found and its entirely news. But they post 10-20 times a day. Im trying to get as big as them, but with some fun stuff and helpful stuff and the occasional brilliant thought. | In my opinion if you are chasing a blog (or website for that matter) that is already successful, you can never surpass them let alone catch them by duplicating what they do. What they did worked well when no one else was doing it. You have to be creative and do something "more" to be as good. I agree completely with the earlier post, that said do less but do it better. If you do one article that truly has value and gets into the social networks you will have accomplished a lot. I try to look at everything I do on the web as a prospective visitor. Why would I come to your blog when I have your competitors? what is special about it? Where is the value? We do a lot of "tricky" things trying to accomplish good rankings but the foundation for it all is the quality and value of our content!
