Hi,
I dont think this has been covered already...
What optimisation can be done to the blogger template to be more SE friendly?
can you use this thread to list all the possible tweaks/ changes and suggest how they help for SEs

On Page:

You can edit the standard template to a more SE friendly version - optimise the title and description fields.

Off page:

Build links from blog directories, ask people to link to you, syndicate your blog etc.

Basically, if you want to use your blogspot presence as a website (I presume for Adsense) or to test things, you need to treat it exactly the same as a regular website.

Even funnier, two of the blogspots out of the 4 in the top ten "can't be found".

Yea, MSN's doing better and gaining ground on Google...guess not.

Of course I'm #1 for ppc manager and all I did was add metas and descriptions 5 month ago, and until a couple days ago didn't even post on it for several months. I even beat WEB CEO, seochat, digitalpoint and trillian.

I wish google still gave good weight to blogs.

just one conlusion: quantity of BL no matter the quality.
even few blogs has been deleted from blogspot and other are redirected to other urls.

I've changed the permalink hyperlink from the post date to the post title which has worked well.

It's not too difficult to change, I also edited the Blogger page title to remove only use the post title for individual posts as a lot of results were going into the supplemental index for duplicate content when using the blog title in front of the post title.
