Purchasing blog post from PayPerPost
I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with buying blog post links via www.PayPerPost.com?

ive used them a few times, honestly couldnt tell any difference as far as rank, traffic etc. and the blogs they wrote for me, well they were worded in a way that made me think this is an ad anyway, but you could have different luck i guess, but personal experience has told me that I got nothing from it .. hope that helps Last edited by ClickyB : December 30th, 2007 at 11:30 AM. You might want to take a look at posting yourself and using this tool previously recommended by Gary The Scuba Guy. http://www.commentsniper.com/

How many blog post links did you purchase? are they archived and showing as back links on G? Quote:
They are not comment spam... their service is to pay bloggers to talk/post about your product/service with a link to your required page. -- any one else out there that has used them with any feedback? |

I did several tests with payperpost and reviewme. I purchased 30 blog posts three times each. Each time I did get temporary ranking increases, but it died down in less than a month. Here are the problems I found with buying blog links:
1) They are only on the front page for a short time. Very quickly they will get archived and placed in supplemental results or the blogger will actually delete them (They are only required to keep them for 30 days). 2) They use terms such as "Sponsored Post" and "Featured Merchant" right next to your link. Google ID"s these phrases as paid advertisements and devalues the link completely. 3) Most of these bloggers dont speak good English. Atleast 25% of all the blog posts I was given had broken English, and was very bad to read. 4) Approx 30% of the blog posts I was given was on a dropped domain. When google updated the PR on these all dropped to 0 and the whole site was completely devalued. Anyways it's complete crap IMO. You will only be wasting your money. If you want to buy links I suggest you find related sites to your own, and contact the webmaster with an offer. Going this route is just a waste of your money.

When was your test? how long did you test for? In your test did you ask for high PR blogs? I fully understand it may be waste of money. We have some of our domains at #2 position and need a boost, but a long term boost is more of what we are looking for. |

You sound like you've already committed yourself to buy them. It's your money and I have no right to tell you how to spend it, I was just trying to provide you with an honest answer to your question. After reading this thread again I see that you were not really seeking advise on the matter, but instead looking for justification to a decision that you had already made. It's always good to find things out for yourself though. In a month or two post back here and let us know how it turned out. -D |

Well not really.... I am actually looking for more than one person to provide feedback.. Not that I do not trust your opinion... basically, I looked around and did not find any data out there to convince me either way. I then deposited some funds (as it is needed to create an account). Now I am trying to figure out what to do with the funds there as we have over 250+ live sites. Depending on its effectiveness or lack of I will decide where to point those links.... So I would really like to hear from more members that have used them.... |

I have bought several blog posts from them month ago. As per results I have a very temporary 2 week traffic increase by about 100 daily, then its back to normal again.
I think if you use blog posts for marketing it works best creating a buzz. Then again you have to buy it from big blogs or you have to continually do that in bulk volume to create the buzz. There are other companies offer similar service blogsvertise.com reviewme.com

I agree - that is eventually bound to happen, but 30% is a bit too much. Quote:
Did you get the increase in traffic from SERP bump or just from the readers of the blogs.... How many post links did you buy? Also what % of the links show in your BL on G? |
