Placing News feed in a site
Hai,
I want to display Indian Educational RSS Feeds, in my "Educational News" section of my site. How to do that? Please help me with suggestions. As I dont have any idea about placing a feed in my site top get recent news, any suggestion is welcome. Susana |

You can probably look for Indian education sites or blogs and see if they have RSS feeds ready for the visitors.

You can use an Rss to javascript service to do that. They are sites that offer this service in which you submit the feed's address and they give you a script that you use on your site that displays the feed's content.
There are other ways to display feeds by using PHP for example. You might want to search for "display RSS" without the quotes to see the options available to you. Quote:

Thanks Chatseeker, it was useful answer.
Now my News.html page is ready with news from related site. But i need help in another work: 1. In the home page of my site, i have a small area alloted to Marquee the recent news. 2. If I click on the marquee text, it will go to News.html and there he can read it. Now in this the second step is done and how to do the first step? |

I know there is a marquee Html tag but I have to admit I'm not a web developer, I haven't used it myself. I suppose you could simply include a link in your marquee to your news page, or use javascript for the marquee effect.
