New to RSS feeds how good are they?

Hello,

I just made my first RSS feed with a program I found called FreeForAll. I added a little RSS thing on my site and uploaded my rss feed to my server. Then I pinged it and submitted it to a bunch of sites. Did I do this correct I'm a nooby so I need some help any will be really helpful. I read people are seeing 40% gains in traffic how long will it take? I update my RSS feed every time I add something to the page my RSS feed link is on which is about once a week.

Your description is a little vague, but it sounds like you are on the right track. I have not checked the script you mentioned.

RSS feeds is a good technology, but you have to publish good content with it to draw syndication interest and increased traffic.

Do most developers use free lance writers to add good content or is it usually hand written by the developers themselves?
